SSVCO

With over a century of experience, Shah Shivji Valji and Company (SSVCO) is one of India’s longest-standing and most established tarpaulin manufacturers. Founded in 1910, the brand has built its position through decades of delivering reliable storage and protection solutions across more than 20 industries, serving both domestic and international markets.

Operating within a category where India accounts for approximately 20% of global tarpaulin demand, SSVCO’s scale, consistency, and technical expertise have cemented its reputation as a trusted industry leader. The brand is positioned not just as a manufacturer, but as a solutions-driven partner for complex storage and protection needs.

WORK

As a long-established industry leader, SSVCO’s growth had historically been driven by reputation, referrals, and long-standing client relationships. The opportunity lay in building a digital presence that could translate this legacy into a scalable source of online leads.

I led the initial website redesign, ensuring the brand’s heritage and product range were clearly articulated, while introducing a CRM-integrated lead capture system to support inbound enquiries. To drive demand, I supported the rollout of lead-generation campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, email, and SMS.

Given the seasonal nature of storage and protection requirements, I conducted industry research to identify cost-effective use cases aligned with SSVCO’s services. Messaging was shaped around specific operational pain points relevant to senior decision-makers and C-suite stakeholders, positioning the brand as a practical, solutions-led partner during peak demand periods.

Ad Concept

The communication approach centred on simplicity, translating the company’s 100+ years of expertise into a clear guarantee while spotlighting its temporary storage solutions. Hence the tagline, ‘Expert Ki Guarantee’ — positioning the brand’s legacy as an expert’s seal of trust. After finalising the tagline, I developed multiple creative iterations tailored to different industry requirements and use cases.

Email Strategy

To drive seasonal sales across industries, we identified industry-specific challenges and mapped them against time-bound storage needs. This included use cases such as protecting cement inventory during monsoon months, or providing rapid storage solutions for the agriculture sector during unforeseen logistical disruptions. The approach ensured our communication addressed real operational pain points at the exact moments demand peaked.

Results

With results exceeding expectations, I authored a case study highlighting the team’s work and the campaign’s impact. The case study was later used as part of the agency’s B2B client outreach email campaigns to showcase our capabilities and outcomes.
